Is it really free?
Yes. Every template on this site is free to download right now. There's no checkout, trial or upsell inside the file.
Do I need to sign up or give an email?
No. The download buttons are direct links to the files. Nothing to fill in.
What do I get?
The spreadsheet (.xlsx) and a PDF guide, each with its own download button on the product page.
Which apps do the templates work in?
Each product page lists exactly what it's been tested in. Our first template has been tested in LibreOffice Calc, which is free for Windows, Mac and Linux. It uses only standard functions that Excel and Google Sheets also list, but it hasn't been tested in those apps yet, so we don't claim it works there. The product page lists the known limits.
Do I need to enable macros?
No. None of our files contain macros.
Is there sample data in the file?
Yes. Each file comes filled with made-up sample data so you can see how it works. The guide explains how to clear it and add your own.
Can I edit the templates?
Yes. Input cells are yellow. The calculation sheets are protected without a password, so a stray keystroke can't break them, but you can turn protection off any time.
Can I share a template?
Use it yourself or across your business, and share the link to the product page freely. Please don't resell it or re-host the file somewhere else.
Is this legal, tax or payroll advice?
No. Our templates are record-keeping tools. Rules differ between countries, states and cities, so set them up to match your own policy and local law.
Do you use AI?
Yes, AI tools help us research, draft and build. A person reviews each product before it's published, and every product page says how it was made.
